 Federal Polytechnic of Anambra Oko

This is to notify all applicants proposed for provisional admission to the Oko Federal Polytechnic (OkoPoly) regular I and II programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session that the facility management has completed the process for their admission and has released the clearance.


Procedure for Federal Polytechnic Oko ND Admission, registration, and clearance.

Step 1: ONLINE ACCEPTANCE OF THE ADMISSION


Admitted students must complete the following steps to accept admission (note: within two weeks of notification of admission):


I. Go to Revenue Collection Unit to generate a Remita Online Admission Fee number.


II Go to one of the approved billing banks to pay entry fees and print payments.


III.Go to the Bursary Unit (Extension site) and obtain your Acceptance Letter.



Step 2: ACCEPT / DEPARTMENT LETTERS


I. Students who have successfully received their admission must contact the admissions office to receive a letter of acceptance and approval


II Then go to your head of department and get permission for departmental clearance.


III. ND1 students and HND1 students (from other schools) must go to an approved bank and pay the cost of the mandatory medical test. With a payment slip, then go to the medical center for a medical examination and receive a medical proficiency certificate, while HND1 students (those who do ND at this school) pay only the medical fees and go to recertify their files in the medical center. (No need to undergo any more medical tests.)


Step 3: DATA COLLECTION / VERIFICATION


Students who have successfully received admission letter, department admission letters, and medical proficiency certificates can now upgrade to online ICT at the ETF premises to collect biometric data and verify credentials.


Step 4: SCHOOL FEES


Students who were successfully cleared and captured can now continue to pay tuition fees with the following steps


I. Go to the Polytechnic Portal to get a REMITA number for online tuition fees/School fee


ii. Go to an approved bank to pay and obtain a payment statement


III. Go to Busary unit (extension page) for a receipt of School fees. At this stage, students will receive an automated registration number according to their various departments.


NOTE: Admission and tuition fees MUST be paid directly to the bank approved by the student. Any payment through an agent or otherwise is at individual risk.


Step 5: TRANSFER A FILE


I. Open the school portal, register for semester courses and print a copy


ii. Students must now return to their department to show their registration number, collect and submit four files, and finally get permission to attend class.
